BayouCity.Net - Creating a New Win98 Email Connection with Outlook Express

Outlook Express:

First, click on the icon for your email program, Outlook Express. The icon is located at the bottom of the desktop, two icons to the right of the START button. It's the one with the little blue "e" over the white envelope. win98email10.jpg (3770 bytes)

When Outlook Express is running, click on the Tools menu and then under Tools, click on Accounts. When the Internet Accounts window comes up as shown below, click on the Add button and then click on Mail....

Follow the instructions in the picture below then click on the Next> button.

Follow the instructions in the picture below then click on the Next> button.

Enter pcm.net in both fields as shown below then click on the Next> button.

Enter your email username and password in the fields below then click on the Next> button.

Fill in the field as shown below then click on the Next> button.

Click on Connect using my phone line and then click the Next> button.

Click on Use an existing dial-up connection and then choose BayouCity.Net below. Then, click on the Next> button.

At last, your quest has ended...you are ready to send and receive email through BayouCity.Net. Just click on the Finish button and then click the Close button at the bottom of the Internet Accounts window. Happy emailing.
